Centurion Medical Solutions provides training in the treatment of life threating hemorrhage and other wounding patterns encountered during active shooter and similar crisis scenarios  which are unfortunately becoming more common and widespread in our community.

The staff has over 23 years of combat medical experience in the management of multi-system trauma casualties, mass casualty patient care, and scene management. Additionally, our staff has extensive experience training non-medical and medical personnel both here at home and in countries worldwide.

Our training curriculum is aligned with the National “Stop the Bleed Campaign” endorsed by the American College of Surgeons and will cover the control of extremity hemorrhage through use of tourniquets, pressure dressings, and wound packing, along with the management of penetrating chest trauma through the use of chest seals. Additional education will cover scene safety assessment, patient movement, and basic airway management.

Training is conducted in a classroom environment over two hours including both lecture and hands on practical application. Completion of the program will increase participant’s confidence in their ability to provide lifesaving aid in crisis situations, and will provide a certificate validating their participation in an accredited Stop the Bleed training program.
